Beike uses 2 different types of umbilical cord stem cells, either separately or in combination, depending on each patient’s condition. To learn more about those 2 types of stem cells and their specific capabilities, please click on the links below.
- Umbilical Cord Blood Stem Cells (UCBSC)
- Umbilical Cord Mesenchymal Stem Cells (UCMSC)
Safety: Beike’s treatment protocols are a result of more than 12 years of extensive basic and clinical research and have been used in more than 60,000 stem cell transplants since 2001. Beike utilizes Adult stem cells which are safe for transplantation and do not result in tumor genesis, unlike fetal and embryonic stem cells. None of our 16,000 previously treated patients ever showed any signs of tumor generation nor serious complication as a result of stem cell transplantation.

Beike Biotechnology is partnered with the Better Being Hospital (BBH) in Bangkok, Thailand, to provide the most extensive treatment available for our patients. This partnership brings stem cells therapy to another level as BBH is the first accredited center in Asia for functional medicine. Read more about BBH
The medical team at the center uses different injection methods for our patients: intravenous, lumbar puncture, retrobulbar injection and intramuscular injection depending on each patient specific condition. More information about each type of injection below:
Intravenous Injection (IV)
The Intravenous (IV) delivery method is a very simple process and should already be familiar to most patients. A tubing line with a catheter tip threaded over a needle is placed into the patient’s vein. Once proper placement is obtained, the needle portion is removed and the flexible plastic catheter is left in place in the vein with the tubing attached. The stem cell solution mixed with the cord blood serum will be administered through the IV (after the evaluation by local medical staff, Dexamethasone may be considered beforehand to avoid any potential allergic reactions). Typically no sedation is required for this procedure. The entire IV injection process takes less than 45 minutes to complete.
Lumbar Puncture (LP)
A lumbar puncture is also commonly referred to as a spinal tap. It is a procedure used to access the cerebrospinal fluid of the brain and spinal cord and helps to deliver stem cells directly into the cerebral spinal fluid, bypassing the blood-brain barrier. Our doctors have determined that this is the least invasive method for delivering stem cells directly into the central nervous system. Cerebrospinal Fluid (CSF) is used by the body to provide protection for the brain and spinal cord, limiting the possibility of injury to these areas. The body constantly produces CSF and thus any withdrawn fluid is naturally replaced within a few hours.
Retrobulbar Injection (RBI)
This type of injection is considered for patients with visual impairments diagnosed with retinal and/or optic nerve related conditions. The procedure allows the application of stem cells in the retrobulbar area behind the eye, placing the cells as close as possible from the optic nerve, retina and other important tissues of the eyes. The procedure takes only few seconds to complete and is not painful. Patients having retrobulbar injections usually notice better improvements.
This type of injection brings better improvements for patients diagnosed with muscular dystrophies and allow the stem cells to be directly transplanted into the muscles of the affected area. Upon admission, doctors will examine the patient and decide how many stem cell packets should be injected locally into the affected muscles. This method has also been applied in the treatment of lower limb ischemia and diabetic foot.
Below are video interviews recorded during treatment with Beike stem cells. These families are talking about their experience including the improvements they have notices following the treatment. The improvements mentioned in these videos are typical, however it doesn’t guarantee that all patients may have improvement.
