The recent decision to allow German nationals to enter China visa-free for stays of up to 15 days from December 1 marks a significant step in bilateral relations between the countries. This regulation extends not only to Germans, but also to citizens from France, Italy, the Netherlands, Spain and Malaysia.
Visa-free entry for stays of up to 15 days
The relief is particularly interesting for patients who are considering stem cell treatment at our treatment center in China. Previously, the hurdles for obtaining visas for medical travel were considerable, including airline tickets, hotel bookings, visa fees and personal appearances at the consulate or embassy. These bureaucratic hurdles have now been temporarily lifted, making stem cell treatments in China much more attractive and, above all, much easier to plan.
With a view to the year 2024, for which the temporary lifting of the visa requirement applies, this new regulation offers enormous relief for patients. The tedious and time-consuming process of obtaining a visa is completely eliminated. A treatment with 8 stem cell packages (UCMSC and UCBSC) takes 14 days in our Chinese treatment center and is therefore less than the permitted 15-day stay.
Stem cell treatment in China without visa
The advantage of treatment in China is the possibility of using various stem cells from our own laboratory. FMT and NGF therapies can also be carried out in China in conjunction with stem cell treatment. Despite these positive aspects, it is important to note that supportive therapies such as physiotherapy or aqua aerobics are not available in China. This may make treatment in China only suitable for certain diagnoses where intensive rehabilitation is not required.
